Zak is a 28 year old African Grey Parrot who went under an endoscopy procedure to investigate his sinus problems and to take a lung biopsy.

The procedure started by inserting a catheter via his wing for fluids and the area for the endoscopy prepped for theatre.

As with any procedure, this kind always carries a risk and we needed to work quickly but effectively as a team.

Zak recovered extremely well and was able to go home shortly after. We’ll check in with Zak shortly.
